install directory - question

Hi, sorry 4 dumb question. I installed xenforo in root dir, to move it into a dir like /forums , I will have to re-install. So when im logged into the xenforo account and specifying the url for the key, do people have to use the /forums directory, or do you just put the main website directory, then install it ingo /forums? Thanks.

If you require support you first need to own a license and have associated your forum username to that license in the account area.

You can then post in a more appropriate forum for support.
