As designed Insert Link should detect URLs properly

Highlighting an obvious link, e.g. https://www.example.com

and pressing the Insert Link button in the editor, puts the URL inside the Text box as opposed to the URL box.

When it is clear that the highlighted text is a URL, it should go in the URL box.

That's not a behaviour we really have any control over and it isn't inherently wrong.

Typically the use case is that you would highlight text you would like to link, and then paste the URL. It isn't designed to add text to a link, if that makes sense.
