inconsistant interface is wonky

still getting back around into all the corners and seeing how things look and work after the 2.3 upgrade...ive noticed this strange one and its on all xf sites ive looked at including this one.....

starting off, its good>>>go into the gallery>>>click a thumbnail>>>you get a large zoomable image, the sidebar, and the user controls and everything seems wonderful....

now, refresh the page?........none of that, forget it.....find your way back to the main gallery page and start again or forget it......click a thumbnail from there? forget it bud you are too far away just scratch your head and hope for the next upgrades

please improve or did i miss an option? or simply just why, i dont understand ;P

Just click a thumbnail from the main gallery page, then refresh browser. You loser the sidebar info and user controls.

To not revert to a standard page instead of the lightbox when manually refreshing the page?

im wondering why it isnt just already like that? if it can pull up the lightbox clicking a thumbnail on the main page, it seems it should be able to do it other places....or with a page refresh....was there a reason or just how it ended up at this point in time?

the lack of consistancy is def confusing....a page should load the same way 2 times in a row... i think it sort of makes it look like a bug issue or bad software to a common user, which xenforo def is not...

it makes it feel like fighting the site trying to use it etc....which i think is maybe the worst thing there is these days for forums...
