XF 1.5 Importer - Merge Users

Hi,

Im using the importer to import users from another board (Vb) and I get a lot of users that supposedly need to be merged ( I have selected to merge those with same email). However when I manually query the old database to verify that the users to be merged have indeed the same email, I don't find any duplicates.

So where's the catch? Why does Xenforo show those users if they are not sharing the same email (or even name).

Accented characters will be considered the same as regular characters.

Do you have any examples of the duplicate names and email addresses as indicated in the importer?
