images on poll votes

I run a photo contest on my site as I'm sure many other Xenforo users do. I'd like to be able to add the submitted photos into the actual poll so users can see the images next to the radio button when voting. I tried using html img tags and mycode img tags. Neither worked.

I have the same issue: One of the things we like to do is a monthly photo comp. In the past we've used photopost, but in other software that doesn't have voting in galleries, we've used polls and put [ img ] code in the answer choices so that people vote using the thumbnail.

I've tried something similar in XF, but it either doesn't parse or I'm using the wrong code.

Could anyone provide the solution with a simple add-on please?
