XF 2.0 Images Directory/Path

OK - Old man here. I give up... Internet searches pretty much only come up with info about XF 1.x. This should be simple - in a default 2.0.7 install, default skin, etc., what directory are image files in? Such as the image for Xenforo in the header? And images for things like the little thumb tacks that show on "Sticky" threads?

You can upload your logo and set a path in ACP to your logo and that will be displayed.

Those images like "thumb tacks" are not images. They are icons. They are loaded by using css. If there is something particularly you want to change, let's say their color, you need to apply css. Like you go to templates, then to extra.less template and put in every modification you want to have.

This is an example of a change you can make:

In general, if you want to change a style, see if there is an option for that in ACP->Style properties. If there is none, you have to do it manually by applying css in extra.less.

Thanks. Just getting into this after vB since 2001 or 2002, and SO different. There is an old saying about teaching and old dog new tricks. Me == Old Dog - But, it's keeping me busy again after a long period of inactivity. Thanks for the reply. It is appreciated. I do want to try ALMUSA's sticky thread separator but I can't find it. Over the years I very highly customized my vB forum - To some degree I expect I will with Xenforo once I pick up the basics.

XF is well organized. Once you understand how things are done, it keeps getting easier. You can ask here your questions when you need help. Old dog, new dog, young dog, we all seek for help :).

For the start what I would suggest you is to read the manual:
https://xenforo.com/xf2-docs/manual/styles/

For style customizations, at first, I wouldn't touch any template modifications and only do css modifications. Cause template modifications can break things and like it can interfere with other addons and such. CSS modifications on the other hand are just pure stuff, like color changes, borders, font etc.

You can find here ALMUSA's seperator.

You can find more stuff in the RM if you search for "sticky" in category 2.x only and in titles only:

Appreciated very much!

Yes, I have been reading the manual. I have put this off as I really hate to leave vB behind. But, it's time to move on. So, it's kind of a crash course thing. And to be honest, I "finished" my customization of my vB forum at least 4 years ago and have hardly touched anything since. Rock solid and everyone knows how it works. This is like learning a new language from which came the "Old Dog-New Tricks" above. When you get down to it, there was quite a lot of the vB adminCP - I'm just now spending time in the Xenoro adminCP. Looking around, trying things out, seeing what all the options and settings are.

Again, I know this is basic stuff and I appreciate your reply.
