Did you check the logs? It seems the addon tries to optimize already optimized images and I'm worried about the read/write operations because it tries to optimize even when they were optimized before R2

This add-on offers to skip optimize images from specific user groups, specific forums, etc... so that attachment just be logged to prevent go it again. That why it's 0 bytes.

I just got this installed and running and it seems to only do your batch size every time you run the cron or the cron runs by itself. I have 6.6G of attachments. I'd like it to just run the optimization constantly until it gets them all. I tried upping the batch size to 500 but that didn't seem to work either, seems like it will only do 50 at a time regardless of the setting.

Is there a way to just tell it to optimize everything, even one of the php-cli options?

You can change the corresponding cronjob to run every 2-3 minutes to speed up the process but for the first run you just have to be patient.

Does it say required. Yes so you need to install those libraries. That can be a little....involved from my experience.
