Does anyone know of a service that compresses images on your server automatically as users upload them?

$79 / mo /60 GB of images per month

what a rip off, that much to squeeze images? for large boards (I've got 120GB+ of just image attachments) this is a joke. It's free to do it via command line.

I use Kraken.io and pay just $5 per month.

I did pay more during initial processing, but if one sets the appropriate parameters within XF, the original image can be compressed quite well using Image Magick and some server tweaks. However, I still send everything to Kraken after the initial processing. The key is that they are already downsized, so there isn't that much transfer taking place. The additional size reduction averages 27%, but the overall reduction using both processes is less than I would spend on more disk space.
