What do we do in the mean time to resolve this?Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XF release (2.3.8).
Change log:
There may be a delay before changes are rolled out to the XenForo Community.

Thanks I just spotted that one.
/install/ after your domain or folder where the forum resides. Thanks I just spotted that one.
How do I rebuild the master data after swapping out the file? Apologies if this is a dumb question.
Post #78 and #79 solved my problems with rotated photos. Is this step still needed as well?

With a text-editor change the line in src/addons/XF/hashes.json to "js/xf/attachment_manager-compiled.js": "762baba37acf077f97b385c8ef93854d1267d63a8d7a3e8b543223aa6194189a",

It works after you doing just that.Ok so I'm still waiting to install it. What do I do after installing? Is the patch something to just run? There is mention of replacing a file somewhere.
Please can someone give me a step by step what to do .....I've attached a patch, you'll need to unzip it and replace the enclosedjs/xf/attachment_manager-compiled.jsfile, which should resolve this. You'll want to rebuild the master data and/or clear your browser cache to pick up the changes, too.
Do you mean install the patch to resolve the image rotation issue or do you mean to install v2.3.7?Ok so I'm still waiting to install it. What do I do after installing? Is the patch something to just run? There is mention of replacing a file somewhere.
Thank you. No I know how to install 2.3.7 - I'm currently on 2.3.6. So basically unzip the patch and upload it to the server? In public html? Somewhere?Do you mean install the patch to resolve the image rotation issue or do you mean to install v2.3.7?
If you are already on 2.3.7 just download the patch from here then upload the unzipped file to your forumhome/js/xf/ directory.
I didn’t rebuild anything after uploading the patch and all is fine on my forum.
I'm not sure if current downloads of v2.3.7 will already be patched, I would like to think so. If so you won't need to patch if this is the case.Thank you. No I know how to install 2.3.7 - I'm currently on 2.3.6. So basically unzip the patch and upload it to the server? In public html? Somewhere?
If your forum has been installed in the root of your domain then yes it will be public-html/js/xfYou see this is the bit that doesn't compute with me "forumhome/js/xf/ directory" Is that in public_html?
Forumhome/install, but never ran this after replacing the file and all is working okay. Also where the is the master thing that is supposed to be run?
Thank you. I can't see anything like that under Install either, so it would be good if it is not longer needed. Under Install I have index.php, install.css, oc-upgrader.php. Nothing looks "runnable"!I'm not sure if current downloads of v2.3.7 will already be patched, I would like to think so. If so you won't need to patch if this is the case.
Maybe @Jeremy P could confirm this?

You are not looking for anything in there just /install then hit the enter/return key on your keyboard.Thank you. A wise choice.Thank you - your help is much appreciatedI'll wait for further information on that then. I don't want to just install 2.3.7 and then find I don't know what to do. My site is heavy with images, especially the home page.
No. You won't need to do this. But just to clarify - I open public_html, select the "Install" folder and just hit return? Or open the Install folder and hit return?
Thank you.A wise choice.
No. You won't need to do this.
But, if ever you need to rebuild the master data in a browser you go to https://www.yoursitename.whatever/pathtoforum/install
Then choose the option to rebuild the master data.
Final question - which file was replaced and is that on the server? You are not looking for anything in there just /install then hit the enter/return key on your keyboard.
Like I said I didn't need to do that once the file was replaced.
If you are running 2.3.6 you don't need to be doing any of this.
If you are about to upgrade to 2.3.7 then I would wait to see what @Jeremy P says with regards to the latest version download being already patched or not.
