XF 1.0 how to set approval for thread of posting

    Hi,

    many users posted thread out of topic. please let me know how to control the thread posting? can i set any posting should be approved by moderator?

    You can enable moderation of posts per group or per forum:

    Admin CP -> Users -> List User Groups -> [click the group] -> Follow message moderation rules (Not Set = will be moderated)

    Admin CP -> Applications -> Display Node Tree -> [click the forum] -> Forum Options: Moderate all messages posted in this forum

    could moderator receive an email notification for every thread that need his approval?

    There is no such feature. But the moderation bar at the top of the forum shows the number of items awaiting moderation. It is very visible whenever you visit the forum.

    That's the most awkward name ever.
    Why is it so awkwardly named ?

    Suggestion:
    Posts moderated ? [Yes, No]

    The reason is so Allow is more privileged than Not Set. Your wording inverts the permission such that Allow is less privileged.
