XF 1.3 How to replace the three UserInboxAlert icons?

So I have three designed icons ready to replace the texts "username" "inbox" and "alerts". How can I do this?

Phrases support HTML so you can add your images as direct replacements for the phrase text.

Also, how can I make them exactly in the middle? (like other tabs on the right)
