XF 2.2 How to change default values of "Receive a notification when someone...."

Receive a notification when someone... There is a whole bundle of $contentType, $action that are default to trigger alert. So user will have to find out these options and shut them down one by one.

Is there a way for admin to shut them down by default collectively or selectively, so the user does not have to take the active initiative to find out where they are and turn off these alerts?

These actions are by default "checked". I play with account_preferences but it is not a good or successful way to manipulate these check boxes globally for all accounts.

it has an option in admin cp that will give you more control on it!
