XF 2.0 how to add image background to these areas?

How to add image background to header, footer, mod bar, Category and forum headers Frustrated with 2.0 design ability completely.

Anyone have the answer to this? In 2.0, where do we add an image to backgrounds of this areas? And please don't tell me I have to access a template to do this.

Have you looked in the style properties? Most of these relate to areas in the header and footer sections.

Category headers are just part of the standard block system and thus would be handled in the blocks section.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for you response. Yes, I've looked through the sps. Where are all the areas to simple change things like margins, padding, radius in things like tabs and other? Do we have to edit the templates some where with CSS or add in the extra css area of that property-if box is available AND presumably if the person knows CSS.

You'll find that we share common properties a lot more for consistency, for example, the block padding and radius properties apply to various other properties themselves. If that doesn't suit you, then you may be able to use the extra box (though it's not necessarily guaranteed) or edit the CSS, yes.

Margins aren't editable in style properties as these represent page structure. However, we do expose the main "element spacer" margin under borders and spacing. (This also covers general paddings, for example.)
