XF 2.0 How to access TEXT from thread custom field ?

Hello,

I want to access the 'TEXT' from thread custom field.

for example :
Field ID : de_store
Field type : drop down selection



I want to access the 'TEXT' which is in red box selected by user.

I tried to access it via : $thread.custom_fields.de_link (But it gives me output : 1 or 2 [which is selected by user.])

You could dump $thread and figure it out that way.
