XF 1.5 How do I find a merged account?

I only have the old username. How do I find the current account?

The old user is deleted, so there isn't any direct reference kept. If it was merged recently then you could perhaps dig through admin logs to try to find when the action was taken, though that would be difficult.

I tried digging through the admin log, but my site is too busy for that.

If the old account had some activity, you could try searching "site:domain.com member's-old--username" to try to find them.

I'm afraid not -- the only thing in the user record that is updated are some count caches (messages, likes) and those aren't tracked for changes (plus they wouldn't really show the source).
