XF 2.0 How can I add more metadata to the release?

I have released an addon https://xenforo.com/community/resources/preserve-moderator-logs-for-spam-and-registration.5715/ and want to add metadata which I already wrote in _metadata.json, but "php cmd.php xf-addon:sync-json Addon" returns "There do not appear to be any JSON changes to sync."

What kind of metadata?

You're not actually supposed to write anything yourself in _metadata.json (which one?) it's for internal use only.

The xf-addon:sync-json command is for syncing changes from your addon.json file to the database.

I have added addon.json in my addon directory and that should work nice! Thanks.

You've added it? That file is required for an add-on to be installable.

I mean I have added metadata to the existing addon.js and added some metadata to my first xf2 addon Preserve Logs
