XF 1.5 Hosting company upgraded tp PHP 7.4.12 and that seems to have broken xf 1.5.21

"continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"?

Best to request they downgrade PHP until you can upgrade xenForo and any addons.

Downgrade PHP to 7.3 or less.

Sorry. I forgot to mention that I downgraded to 7.3.24 and the problems still persist.

Ahh, the version you are running will work up to 7.2

I did do a search and found that 7.3 was recommended for 1.5, but maybe we're do for an upgrade.

It depends which version of XF 1.5.

Only the newest versions will support PHP 7.2 and 7.3.

For 7.2 support you likely need a release after January 2018. For 7.3 support you need a release after January 2019.

yup need 1.5.24 for PHP 7.3 max support
