MG 2.3 Horribly long to load

Recently XFMG has started taking a really long to to load. You can jump around the sections okay but clicking the Media link and you can wait a couple minutes for the page to load.

Is there anything I can check? Or how to fix?

Not great but I'm self hosted. Not really an issue with the main forum but XFMG can take 2 minutes to load

As a guest there is only 2 small galleries. As a member Attachments 1,117,510. I've reduced the media items per page to 24 and no real improvement.

Going between galleries it's fast. Its just the initial load.

Before you open the slow page, open your browser console tools (Right click > Inspect) and switch to the Network tab. Now when you go to the page, all the requests will show in the console with loading times and maybe help identify which part is loading slow.

The server is on my local network as is my pc.

Is there anything I can check?

Check MySQL / MariaDB slow query logs.
Check PHP-FPM slow request logs.
Enable XenForo debug mode and check the debug output.

Found a solution right in the XFMG settings.

Only show media added within the last X days

If you have a large gallery, your media index or category view pages may load slowly. This option will mitigate that to only show media from the last X days. Set to 0 for unlimited. You can also control this on a per-category basis.

Sadly it makes all the archives content unviewable so I'm back to square one.
