Has Elon Musk lost his mind or?…

Actually, let me check myself on my last post. Sigh……. Just disregard it. Keep on believing everything the State feeds you. Continue with the deranged attacks. Those who don’t learn from the past are bound to repeat it. Which the liberals will definitely do lol. They lost the White House, the Senate, and the House. They lost the Electoral College vote and the Popular vote. Trust in the media is in the teens.

Yet they’ve learned nothing. It is amazing, really. So by all means, if you still think that's a winning strategy, carry on!

Why do you think all the pardons were issued by Biden?! The jig was up! They were caught! Liars and thieves all.

As in Japan (as in the UK) people drive on the wrong side of the road you'd wave a taxis with your left arm whereas the Nazi-salutation is done with the right arm. So not only the gesture is not comparable, it is even done with the wrong arm as well.
You failed to realize that you can hail a taxi driving on the opposite side of the road, which will whip a U-ie and come get you.

You really can't be that stupid, can you?

Since I live south of the city, more often than not I will be walking with traffic looking for a taxi as they charge per 200m or 250m (something like that, plus wait time [any idle time in the taxi, such as when the door closes to when they start moving]). So, I will save about 75 cents if I get one in pursuit of finding a taxi on the other side. More empty taxis approach from the south than the north because the empty taxis are coming back into the city to get people, while full taxis are leaving the city to drop people off. That said, you'll wind up getting a taxi from the opposite lane more (city northbound/inbound traffic) than you would be from the lane traveling south; it's not even worth turning around and trying because you know every taxi going south is already full. If I were to catch a taxi on while standing on the northbound side, instead of waiting for one on the southbound lane side, I would get into the taxi on the northbound side and get charged that extra 75 cents for them to turn around.

I know this is complicated for you, so read that over and over until you can understand the mechanisms at work to get a taxi and at the best rate: walk in the direction you intend to travel to save money, hail a taxi from the opposite side of the road with a "nazi salute", continue walking until the taxi approaches you to shave off a few more cents for a couple of steps, and get in. It blows your mind, right? It should, after your response.

or be healthy and ride a bicycle.
until my health issues got bad i rode a bicycle to work unless it was bad weather.
then i would drive my car.
it was only about 8 miles to work so it was not that bad.

Reading through this thread it strikes me everyone would be better off just ordering themselves an Uber.
Ubers are illegal here (well, not the ones working for taxi companies) because you need a commercial license plate (green colored) to transport people (and sometimes, goods). It's a way that taxi companies hold onto power, and were able to beat Uber into submission to contract taxi companies, because there are limited number of commercial plates available, and for the ones that are, the unions essentially control the distribution of them (though, they shouldn't have that much control over a government issuing process).

i try to look at someone past statements.
then match them to certain behavior you see.
when you have someone pushing for the afd in germany.
then have that person throwing what can be seen as a salute used by a despised party.
very often where there is smoke there is a fire.

Nobody hails a cab with a nazi salute. You hail a cab by stretching your arm out more or less to the side as you are actually watching the oncoming tragic and your arm goes out sideways to give it full visibility to the can driver of any nation. If you did a nazi salute the oncoming traffic probably wouldn't see it to well (luckily for you).

First picture I could find of a cab being hailed in Japan it looks the same as we would do anywhere. Note:

  • Arm slightly to the side not straight out towards the front
  • There is a relaxed bend in the arm as if you are waving to someone or, er, hailing a cab. Unlike a nazi salute which in votes a very stiff arm. I bit like the image of Superman above but at a lower angle to the body.

Oh, we got another genius up in this thread that I didn't see because of embeds:

You failed to realize that you can hail a taxi driving on the opposite side of the road, which will whip a U-ie and come get you.

i find it funny how many of those that appear to support the radical right fall back to personal insults.
i guess it is now the accepted thing?
can not deal with people not agreeing with them?
so try intimidation?
hard to think that xenforo does not have an ignore feature for threads.

EDIT
I notice that some that do this also do the same when someone posts anything they do not agree with.

@frm, why do you keep calling people stupid?
I didn't call anyone stupid. I asked if they had cognitive impairments, were unable of critical thinking, and also stated that we had another genius in this thread.

Why are you putting words into my mouth?

You really can't be that stupid, can you?

If you're referring to this question, it's rhetorical, that gives the author time to realize the mistake that they made. If they can, then they are capable of critical thinking, and thus, not stupid.

Absolutely this. We need to normalise not calling people genius so much because he is anything but.

Chris even used the word genius as opposed to outright calling someone stupid. I don't believe there should be any double standard when calling someone a genius in the context that both he and I used it in too.

Oh, like how the left calls the right nazis just because they misgender them or tell them that they shouldn't get an abortion? By far worse is said from the left to the right, to include actions such as getting people fired over opinions, than from the right to the left.

First you said:
"Are you really that stupid?"

Then you edited that message to say:
"You really can't be that stupid, can you?"

After this, you followed up with another message saying "I know this is complicated for you,"

Keep telling yourself that.

Then you edited that message to say:
Yes, I have the right to edit a post when I make a mistake so that I can abide by the social norms set forth in the thread by a staff member already. What are you getting at here?

Should I have left it as is and risked a warning? I corrected my action before I thought anyone could see it. However, you saw it. I apologize for you having to read my mistake before I hastily edited it.

What I meant to ask was:
You really can't be that stupid, can you?

Edit: I must add that the thread title is "Has Elon Musk lost his mind or?…" which can be interpreted as "Has Elon Musk lost his mind or is he stupid?" If it's alright to vaguely reference someone as being stupid that's not on this forum, it should be acceptable to do the same for someone that is on this forum. At least a member on this forum can respond, unlike Elon Musk, who can't (he probably wouldn't anyway, or if he could, would actually call you stupid, but I'm just pointing out the fine line of word choices and vagueness that can be used for the reader's interpretation).

I think this entire thread is funny and ironic, and shows the hypocritical views of the left, all at the same time.

It's fine to label someone as stupid, or "not genius", who openly admits to having Asperger's. At the same time, it's not ok to question the mental capacity of someone who suffered a stroke and definitely shouldn't be in office.

It's appropriate to be ableist against Elon Musk because he aligns himself with the "far right", but once the person is on the left, like Senator John Fetterman, that's a bridge too far.

You can only use language when it's appropriate and fits your narrative, but it's not tolerated when it no longer fits your worldview. It's quite interesting, to say the least; it's almost as if you can have your cake and eat it too.

Who remembers when everyone loved Elon Musk because he was making the world a better place with electric vehicles and endorsed Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden?

Once more you are derailing, running like a weasel when you get caught lying and declare an edge case to be the standard while leaving out the obvious: You really claim that in Japan it would be expected to wave a taxi with this two-step Nazi-gesture...

And you honestly expect anyone to believe that?
You really can't be that stupid, can you?
It's an interesting pattern how you declare everyone as "stupid" that does not agree with you and your made up "facts".

That’s settled it then, Elon was just hailing a taxi. See, there’s an innocent explanation after all. Maybe his battery was flat or his car had burst into flames.

And just to prove that assumption, someone with more intelligence than me will probably point out that hail and heil mean the same thing. Next time you need a cab beware you may get more than you bargained for and end up with a nazi dictator or even a Roman emperor.

Correct. Not like that.

It would be facing the other way, and in a natural fluid-like movement, my right arm would go up and to the left, where if a perfectly timed photo was taken, it'd appear above the heart, before I swung my torso and arm out to the right to heil down the approaching taxi in the northbound lane.

Edit: I might even tap my chest in a "thank God, I got a taxi after 20 minutes of waiting" moment, and to explain why I go from the right to the left is so that I can maintain positive bodily movement control over my hand to ascertain whether someone is coming up behind me on my right or not, so I don't wildly flail my arm out and smack a passerby in the face.

Full on heil taxi moments some nights when there are none. You caught me!

I get it.

Everyone that you disagree with is literally Hitler. 👍

Not a valid opinion to have over an awkward hand gesture by some with Asperger's, but you've shown yourself to be an ableist in mocking him for an embarrassing moment. 👌

I guess this statement of your's is covered by free speech - despite in fact it nothing but a very cheap try of insulting. Goes back to the sender and once more shows what has been said in this thread countless times: You lack and arguments - all you are able to do is insult other people.

And again you are still desperately trying to derail from your claim one would have to do a nazi salute do wave for a taxi in Japan (which already was a derailing attempt to justify the Nazi salute by Musk).

Sure thing, buddy. Whatever you say.
