XF 1.2 Friendly URL Help

So I recently just bought my XenForo website. I tried implementing the friendly urls, but whenever I activate it, and go to my website URL. The problem is when going th the URL it gives me "Could not open the page. Too many redirects occurred trying to open (website name)." This may occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page, which is then redirected to open the original page". As soon as friendly URLs is disabled, it works again.

Another question I had was adding Favicon, but thats a minor thing.

Make a logo first, resize it to 24 x 24 or whatever fits favicons fully, save it fav.ico or something like that, then upload it to the root where you have the forum located on. You're done.

I'd guess that "AllowOverride" isn't set on your server so the .htaccess is ignored or you will need to set "RewriteBase /" in your .htaccess because Apache is guessing the URLs incorrectly.
