XF 2.2 Forum with access to only one member?

Is there a way to make a forum that is only visible/accessible to one member?

Give that member a specific group and make that forum area only available to that group. Would be the same as making an Admin and or Moderator-only area.

In this case it would be easier to create the forum as a private node and grant access to that member only.

In fact, I used to have a private forum exactly like this where I did testing and wrote drafts and stuff. I also hid it from navigation and just accessed it via a direct link but that's optional. Works nicely.
