Not sure what title I should have used for this thread, but anyway I stumbled upon a CMS for another forum software and it's basically the kind of CMS I always wanted for XenForo. It's fully integrated, has categories and sub-categories, even tags! (@Jaxel), support for multiple categories, widgets, comments, an archive. And for some reason it's free (even for commercial use), not crowdfunded, but supported. You can check the demo out here. If such a CMS would be made for XenForo, surely this would make some folks happy.

I for one would not be happy. Forums are made for posting, nothing more. I pray that Xenforo never falls into that trap like VB did. If you want a CMS, load wordpress or joomla and set your home button to it.

Stop living in the past. An integrated CMS becomes more and more essential to a forum. Those who don't have a need for it can simply not use it.
