Wow.. that is unusual :p

I remember it growing practically wild in the huge garden of this house we had in Scotland when I was a kid, but eating it raw.. lol no thanks!

Curiously the garden also contained unusual looking poppies, the guy who owned it had spent extensive time in the "far East" I guess he had developed a love of the.....erm exotic ;)

Really..I would have never guessed Nepal...for some reason I thought you were in LA or something...I dunno my brain is shot.

I have seen something on tv where people are selling ancient ginger for like $150,000 for a single piece. It must be good. :-)

I know I know, that was my attempt at retribution for your hating of my garlic bread :-)
 
Lunch over, it was wonderful! :D Jeff's lamb was utterly divine! Unfortunately we totally forgot to take pics or anything, but it had really taken on the flavours of the red wine, garlic and rosemary, and he roasted it to pink in the middle... mmmm We had roast potatoes, Pumpkin, Sweet potato, steamed green beans and salad.

Followed by the Apple Rhubarb pie, which was pretty good.. everyone raved, but I dunno if that was just politeness.. wine.. or genuine praise :p lol whooooo cares!

I have decided I do like rhubarb after all!
