Okay i have a bit of a problem, i am using Xenforo's post render on my website for grabbing news from the news forum.

    Now see this post: http://www.gamingonlinux.info/chill/index.php?threads/m-a-r-s-christmas-release.277/

All looks fine, but then you see it on the website: http://www.gamingonlinux.info/news277_MARS-Christmas-Release.html

You will see the issues in the text where in firefox it gives the diamond with a question mark in it.

Why does it look fine in the forum but not the website when both pages encoding is UTF-8?

Ensure that you're connecting to MySQL using utf-8 as well.

How exactly do you connect to the database using UTF-8?

Found it mysql_set_charset and it works great, never even knew you could do that....
