XF 1.1 First x Words of the thread

Hello,

I need a code for first x words of the thread ...

in fact I need to put the first x words of the thread under the H1 code ...

has anyone any ideas?

There's a helper for that. You may notice that if you view the source of a thread the meta description contains the first x characters of the thread. That is created using this code in the template:

{xen:helper snippet, $firstPost.message, 155}

Just change the red number to how many characters you want displayed and paste the code at your desired location.
