Going to a specific node will show you AlL threads in that node, this mod will only show you the new ones, thats the difference

Oh, I see what you mean.

Yeah, Henrik is right.

The What's New section shows you all threads that you haven't read from all forums.

This add-on enables you to see all threads that you haven't read from a specific forum. Yes, you could go directly to the forum to look, but you'd then see all of the threads, whether you've read them or not.

This update fixes a potential problem with a directory name containing a stray capital letter.

until now other developers said that this can't done because of how "what's new" works... if this add-on rewrite "what's new" maybe aggregate selected nodes in one (or more than one!) "what's new link" can be finally a reality!

There's nothing particularly special about how What's New works... weird.

It would take some rewriting to work with multiple nodes, but I'm tied up with some other projects for a while now.

I do not believe it is possible.

The query gets the threads from xf_thread.

The xf_thread table doesn't know what category the threads are in, only what forum they are in.

Very Nice Addon. A Dropdown would be great because of saving navbar space.
