Lack of interest Facebook "Share" button

On admin.php?options/list/facebook there are only 2 options for the Facebook Like Button Phrase: "Recommend" and "Like".

Please provide a third option called "Share": https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/share-button

I don't believe it's that different... I was able to replace the Recommend button with the Share button (with counter) with 2 very easy and small edits: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/problem-with-social-buttons.96297/

That makes it "not difficult".. still different though.

Doesn't it make more sense to just leave the code as it is, but add data-share="true" to the tag?

That gives you a like button and a share button side by side.

As Mike said, Share is a completely different thing to Like/Recommend so there's no chance we would replace Like with something different.
