Facebook integration problem

i created a facebook page for my xf forum site.

upon reading the xf facebook manual
http://xenforo.com/help/facebook/

it says you need to create an app thru this link
http://www.facebook.com/developers/apps.php

it errors, facebook said:
To use this feature, you will need to sign up for a personal Facebook profile.


but facebook policy states that a website must use PAGE
and not personal facebook accounts else your account will be disabled.

Now im confused..
i cannot use personal facebook account due to im using it for a website forum of mine.

i created a facebook PAGE as recommended by facebook for website
but xf integration wont allow..

please help

I'm not sure I understand.
Unless Facebook have changed their T&C's, you can just go ahead and create an App and use it for your site.

I think you're getting Facebook Pages mixed up with an app which just facilitates logging in and registering on a forum.

theres a policy in facebook i read
that personal facebook account must be used by a person(human)
with first name and lastname and not a name of the website.

if you will use it for a website, you need to use the PAGE for website.

my question is:
i created a facebook page (not personal facebook account) for my xf site.
does that mean i cant use the facebook integration/facebook xf registration?

You're not using the Facebook account for your website.
You're creating an App to be used by your website.

Two different things altogether.

Just create a standard Facebook personal account and then create your App.
