Did you manage to do this through css only? or did it require some template editing? I'm quite sure from looking at that it can be done with css but I haven't looked into that, yet. :P

All CSS/Jquery. Hence one of the reasons why we wanted an addon that allowed us to quickly give any class to any forum, so our none designer staff, can use it as well!

I did something very similar with subforums, Minus the imagery so might re-visit my subforum column enhancement and try a few things out. You've just inspired me to work on that again. :)

Another example is that our none game forums(Remember our site mades dozens of forums daily, since people come to create their games, through our approval process and some get archived etc, things are moving ALL the time).

For our more stable forums(the ones with out images)

We can give them a class of tall(the one with the foot, which we gave the node icon of the foot) and then blue. This makes it blue, and taller then the others.

While the creativity pink, has wide, pink. You get the idea. We have a template some where, where we create all of this, then we give our a staff a list of classes and the different combos they can use for different effects and stuff.

Roleplays are always random now. UNLESS YOU POST IN THEM :P....

See my screenshot? To Reign in Hell has a "46" that means I have made 46 posts there in the last 30 days.

As long as I have a post within 30 days in a game. It will always be at the top. Everything else is randomized(that way storytellers and their players, don't have things they post in be random). But still equally give people a chance for their game to be seen by new players. If you stop posting in a forum for 30 days, it unfreezes and goes back to being random.

That was just . . the forum index. We plan to do so much more! We are constantly striving to just make it so that we and the users of our site have the best experience ever. With out sacrificing efficiency or beauty. I believe that both compliment each other greatly, at least that is how we design things and ultiamately it should be just as fun to make as it is to use.

We greatly hope that many people are able to make use of this addon and that it greatly helps them! Same with the bbcode tabs, and anything else that we pay for in the future.

If you look hard enough on Xenforo.com you will see updates from us, starting back from when our site was just called WaywardInn.com(we changed our name down the line when we merged our two RPing sites together). Not sure if I ever asked them to be deleted or not. One of the very first things that we did, was we took the free style called Aurora(Loved that style) and completely altered it as one of the first big things we did. Some people might still remember that one. I can't find any images right now. Another one we did was. . Flexile, and a few others. The dark one that we currently have on our site, is based on Class.

Though the new one that you saw today, is 100 percent from scratch. So it is possible that we might release it in the future.

Maybe, we have a policy floating around(still up for debate) that we will most likely not say any style we are currently using. But when we are done with it, we don't mind putting it up for sale.

There is also a few addons that have been made for us. That have not made it to the Xenforo Manager yet. One of the big ones being our full fledged dice system http://www.rpdom.com/dice

You can roll from posts, or from that page and attach it to posts. Or share the result online on other sites(allowing us to bring competition to various other online dice rollers that have been around for a while but constantly keep going down). It currently just supports two games, regular and exalted. We plan to get more support for that soon(If you click on roll while logged in, you get an overlay asking you which system you want the dice to be rolled for, obviously each one is different since they all have features, and different Math involved)

Yea I saw that addon before while I was browsing RPDom.
