XF 1.4 expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) or ${ (T_DOLLAR_OPEN_CURLY_BRACES) or {$ (T_CURLY_OPEN)?

I'm installing the version 1.4 on a shared hosting. This error occured in the step 2:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) or ${ (T_DOLLAR_OPEN_CURLY_BRACES) or {$ (T_CURLY_OPEN) in/home/xenforo/public_html/xf/library/XenForo/Install/Data/MySql.php on line 1689

I found that there are some failed transfers in the FileZilla.

Hopefully you have now re-uploaded the files and been able to install XenForo.

FileZilla is known to cause problems like this. I'd suggest you use another FTP client. WinSCP is recommended for Windows. If on a Mac I'd suggest Cyberduck.
