XF 1.4 Error When Uploading Files

Hi,

I am trying to still set my forums up and when uploading an image file, I get the following error;

The following error occurred
There was a problem uploading your file.

I've found this thread;

But so far can't seem to get it to work.
It's proving to be a pain as I simply can't upload attachments into the forums.

I am limited with time setting these up due to work commitments and RL, so coming across errors here and there are, are slow for me in comparison to others' as I am restricted with time.

I hope someone can help as it's becoming very frustrating setting this up lol

It could be any one of a number of things.

That's fine, all checked and working great..
I turned off the flash uploader and it's worked.

Is the flash uploader known to be buggy??

It's possibly a mod_security issue.

You may need to contact your host and advise them of the problem.

Oh hang on, is your site .htaccess password protected?

If so, that's why the Flash uploader won't work.
It's a design issue with Flash.

Bingo, will try when I am finished and remove the .htaccess
