XF 1.2 error 301 insted of 404

Hi,

I have tons of URLs from vBulletin 4 and 5 (I used even vbSEO). Not Google sees that URLs as 404 page not found.
I would like to send Google 301 error and redirect it to forum homepage.

Do you have any redirection scripts in place?

No. I saw that there are some vb4 redirection scripts but I have vbseo and vb5 mix.
Is there any general redirection script?

I believe you will have to either write your own or combine them. But without some sort of redirection script (which will return a 301), Google will appropriately determine a 404 for these old URLs. I don't know enough about either format to help you write them tho.
