I'm not sure if this is a permissions setting or a bug.
If I go to the media gallery here to add a new entry I select new album:
Then I select Embed Media and enter the following url into the modal:
To view this content we will need your consent to set third party cookies.
For more detailed information, see our cookies page.

This will immediately result in the following error:
You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.
YouTube is listed as an allowed site, but its not allowing a YouTube link.

I'm in a similar situation. We have a few areas in the media gallery were we want to upload YouTube videos and playlists which we have created. Yet today, while wanting to start adding some videos to an empty category, I was able to upload only one playlist. The other two are nowhere to be found. The video I uploaded can also not be found anywhere.

This add-on has been so plagued with issues and bugs that it is unusable to us. Can I get a refund?

Yep, embeds are on.

The videos aren't appearing in categories anymore. My initial batch done last year has the videos in the same categories I uploaded them to. I found my recent additions under "My Media" but they don't appear in the categories they were added to. If I try to move them, they say the media already exists there. I've rebuilt caches a few times.

No wonder my staff hates this add-on. They upload stuff and it seems like it goes into the ether! We've never been able to make the gallery public since it is such a trainwreck...even though we have only a few dozen items uploaded!
