Implemented emoji support in search?

hello,
its been brought to my attention that there is no support for this...could it be simply added?

for example id like to do a search for my new best friend @⭐ Alex ⭐ and see all these things about them....this forum wont let me tho!

you did it with a mobile device i assume.....there is no emoji option in the search box is the point being.
if it supports the search there should be a way to actually do the search easily.

The search field accepts emoji from a mobile and touch device.

It's not clear what issue you are facing.

i suppose it would be laptop/desktop support i refer to then.....people still use laptops? im slow adopting mobile so im not sure how often it comes up but it seems like it should be simple enough to support....even by detecting type of device or such, then give an extra editor menu for desktop/laptop.

Both macOS and Windows have hot keys to bring up an emoji keyboard.

It’s typically the Fn key on macOS and Windows Key + . on Windows.

ok im in! that one works, never heard of that, thank you

its a little obscure tho like i will have to mention it so people will understand they can do that....i understand if you wont improve it for that reason tho.....
