Fixed Editor is disabled on old Android using modern browsers

Which version of Android are you running and was the editor actually loading without issue prior to that?

Just spotted it's FireOS.

We did update Froala to 2.7.6 this morning, but prior to that we would have rolled out changes which disabled the RTE in some older versions of Android.

Can you Google "what is my user agent" from the affected device and let us know what the user agent is reported as?

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 5.1.1; KFDOWI Build/LVY48F) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Silk/64.3.4 like Chrome/64.0.3282.137 Safari/537.36

Android 5.1.1
Froala only officially support Android 6 and above so we affected that change a few days ago.

I'll look into this though before the next release to see if we can not block modern browsers running on older Android.

Strange that you affected that change a few days ago, but I did have the full editor up until this morning.

That does concern me. Luckily I have a Fire tablet as well so I can test this. I wonder if Froala have added a kill switch for certain browsers...
Guess I will have to switch to the laptop or iPad for the time being.
Posting still works though, right?

Yes, posting is fine, thanks for checking into it. Glad to see you also have a Fire tablet, it is nice to have different devices to use and text with. :)

Literally only have it for my daughter. It has a massive pink case on it

But it does happen to be useful, though it is very walled in to the Amazon OS stuff. I did manage to implement something that gave me access to the Google Play Store though so I think I also have Chrome on it...
