XF 2.1 Easier way to update database tables

Since I have been working on this addon for over a year and now there are policies related to addon releases, is there an easier method to update the tables to include xf_ without having to update every place I use the old table name? I mean such as using a PHP file to update code that uses the old table to use the new table?

Any IDE can do that.

There should only be a few files where table names are referenced.

Of course, forgot about me having Sublime Text which does just that using the search feature. Thanks @Brogan
