Donations by Siropu [Paid] 1.5.5

No permission to buy (€19.99)
How can I edit this Donor Benefits link to do two things:

1 - change it from an overlay to just have the text listed on the page, if possible?

2 - change it from 'donors' group to the name of our group which is supporters?

Hy,
for 2: search for the phrase "siropu_donations_donate_x_or_more_for_donors_group" and change the text to what you need.

I haven't purchased it yet, does the add-on create a group and force that group? Or can we designate one?
Hy,
you must create the group on your own!
After this, and all the settings for the new group are done, you can pic the group in the settings of the addon.
But you don't have to do it! You can leave this option empty, nothing will be done to the usergroups.

Thanks! I'll likely buy this if I can get a reply from @Siropu on the below:
Been looking for something like this.

Does the recurring billing work with Stripe? What about the other options aside from PayPal? Does it work with them?

Can it be canceled in XF? They still keep the group for the original period after canceling correct?

If you have it set to remove from the group in one month, and a person donates three times in a month, does that mean they are removed in three months, or one month from the last donation?

Thanks!

Is there a way to migrate the donation history from the outdated ThemeHouse donations addon?
There isn't.

I keep getting
Does the URL has the donation_id in it?

It works with Stripe and PayPal.

Yes, it can. Yes.

It uses the last donation date to determine.

Siropu updated Donations by Siropu with a new update entry:

Improvements & Bug Fixes

Added new goal option where you can choose to show or not total donated amount (hidden by default).
Added ACP donation search by Goal.

Fixed an issue where you can get an database error with incorrect user donation count.
Fixed an issue with cancelled donations and custom user groups where the donor was not removed from the group if no other valid donations found.

@Siropu I've got a widget double posting when viewing threads, new posts, and and I cannot figure out for the life of me why its happening.

Edit - I have a chat widget on the forum view, which is the homepage. It seems that instead of putting the donation widget on the chat page view, its considering the forum view/list also the chat page and doubling up on the widget.

Also, the public sidebar top and bottom don't distinguish between logged in and not logged in. I would have thought the 'public' part is for guests, not members, but maybe that isn't what its for then?

Edit 2 - I can't get it to show up in new posts, new profile posts, latest activity, and your news feed despite selecting what I thought were the relevant options.

Can you please post the positions selected for the widget?

No. If you want to control who sees the widget, you need to use the user permissions.

Just purchased this for my forum -- i have friendly URLs, so which is the ID? I'm assuming it's the number after the "."; but it doesn't seem to be working. Thread is unlocked, and in a mods/admins only forum.
Code:
https://www.forum.com/threads/15th-anniversary-donations.80302/

I've installed it but can't find the page where people donate.

EDIT: I looked in group permissions and figured it out. Admin permissions were No. Permissions need to be set to donate.

If you only have one payment method it still asks you to select it in a pop-up. Asking you how you want to pay. Can this step be eliminated please so it just brings you to the payment page, when we have only one way to pay? Thanks

@Siropu, I wish there was a way to disable donations. You can disable a goal but the page and widget still show and allow donations. I could disable the add-on but then can't work on the donation goals, etc. Can you add a disable button that will hide the page and widget from the public but allow admin access to the settings? Or at least remove the donate button? Removing permissions from multiple groups is not ideal.

Also I would like to see a way to offer monthly and yearly donations both, and have the "Donor user group duration" setting apply to each one respectively instead of being global. This way we can set it to a month for monthly, and a year for yearly. (Maybe it's set in the goal? So for example you could select yearly and remove in a year, and in the next goal, do it monthly.)

Lastly,, it would be nice to set the group they are assigned to per goal so the group could be a different one. Thanks!

Great add-on!
