XF 2.1 Does XenForo prune proxied images?

My understanding of the image proxy is that the proxied image gets stored on the server. Does XenForo ever clean up these images after a certain amount of time?

The reason I ask is because I run a rather old forum, and our attachments folders have ballooned in size over the last few years, notably starting around when we enabled the image proxy

internal_data/attachments is at 85GB
data/attachments is at 4GB

Have a look in the internal_data/image_cache directories.

What's the oldest file there?

I've just checked mine and everything seems to be as expected with a lifetime of 7 days.

Oh wait, you specifically mention the internal_data/attachments directory.
That is for images which are actually uploaded to the site, not proxied.

Looks like image_cache is indeed being cleared properly. I guess we've just gotten a ton of uploads the past few years.

What's the difference between internal_data/attachments and data/attachments, if I may ask?
