Does deleting a member also delete their attachments?

    Thanks!

Generally, deleting a member doesn't ever delete any of their content.

Is there a way to delete all attachments from a member?

As long as you haven't yet deleted the user, you can find all their attachments in the Admin CP > Attachment Browser by searching for their username.

You would have to delete them one by one, unfortunately.

@Chris D I was under the assumption that unused attachments were automatically deleted, as you stated here.

That being said, couldn't you use the Spam(Cleaner) function under Moderator Tools to simply Delete the users threads? Then, if I understand correctly, within 25 hours any unused attachments would be automatically deleted by XF.

Of course, this assumes the OP wants to delete a user -and- his posts from the board.

That would only apply if you hard delete the threads; attachments stay with soft deleted content.
