XF 2.1 Do usergroup settings stack?

Quick question here, do usergroup settings stack, e.g. you have registered users and VIP and registered users are allowed to have 2 links in their signature while VIP are allowed 5, and the user will be part of both groups, do they stack for a total of 7 links?

Or number of conversation recipients for registered users are 5 and VIP has 15.

My forum has user upgrades and on the description of the VIP upgrade it lists it as 10 more conversation recipients, for example, since all my usergroups vary on number of recipients they're allowed. So just wondering if they do stack as I can't advertise additional recipients but a static number of recipients.

No, the highest quota is the one that counts. Maybe there is an addon, but I think it would be complicated for a permission to be additive.

Also note that although a usergroup cannot reduce a quota, the highest number will always prevail over lower numbers. The only way to lower a quota would be a group with never that reduces the number to 0 of course.
