XF 1.1 Display custom userfield under avatar on forum post?

Ive had a google but not having much luck!

I have a custom userfield that I converted over from IPB - How do I get this to show under the members avatar on forum post?

When adding or editing a field there is this option you need to enable:

General Options: Viewable in message user info

In addition, make sure this is enabled in your style:

Admin CP -> Appearance -> Style Properties -> Message Elements -> Show custom user fields

Now when a user enters a value into that field it will show in their posts.

I added some custom user fields and my current members are unable to see them so that they can input their information. What do I need to do to fix this?

Normally it is because you did not check a box in ACP/Profilefields so that it is visible in the userprofile..
