Discussions Per Page

Will increasing the amount of discussions have any negative effects on for example SEO?

Today somebody reminded me that on our old forums we used to list 40 discussions per page but after our migration to XF I never changed the default setting of 20 discussions.

No problems. Forum pages are unimportant.

I had asked the same question, but it turns out that number of posts per page doesn't affect anything. I'd however like to believe that it'd definitely improve the text/ads ratio
