XF 2.3 Disable Email Requirement for Registration

How do we disable email requirement for forum registration? I ran through the basic user registration options in the ACP with no luck.

I do not need it, I am not concerned with people's emails, I do not want people's emails, and the requirement is currently negatively effecting my traffic and registration count based on feedback I have.

Admin -> Options -> User registration
Uncheck 'Enable email confirmation'

Phil, thanks for answering. I tried this, but upon registration, it still says email is 'required' for the new user. Therefore I am left to conclude that the "Enable Email Confirmation" does not disable email requirements altogether, but instead merely allows the users who signed up with their email to not have to verify their emails.

Correct.

An email address is required when registering.
