I apologize if this has been answered, I tried to search for an answer.

Is it redundant and/or confusing that the "New Threads" page also has a "All Recent Messages" link on the right side of the page? Don't they provide the same result, or shouldn't they?

I understand that "New Threads" link in 1.2 is the"What's New" in ptr 2.3, but the URL for "All Recent Messages" is different and sometimes provides different results.

EDIT: Ok, it appears that "New Threads" only includes messages that you haven't seen, while All Recent Messages, as the name suggests, includes all new content, including threads you've participated in.

All recent messages includes those you have already read.

New Threads is only those you haven't read.
