Description for RSS 1.2

No permission to download
I've got this error everytime I open a RSS-Feed on Xenforo 1.1.4 (don't know if error exists on xf 1.1.3 too):

Code:
Zend_Feed_Exception: Invalid parameter: parameter must be a non-empty string - library/Zend/Feed/Writer/Entry.php:258

Hot wo fix it?

There's an apparent issue with attachments in the RSS-feed.

The RSS links to this: http://www.globaldiscussionforum.tv/forums/-/attachments/33/

However, the /forums/~ is not part of the actual URL to the attachment. The attachment is located here:

http://www.globaldiscussionforum.tv/attachments/standinginside-jpg.33

I can reproduce the error on my own forum as well.

RSS Link: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/forums/-/attachments/6105/

Actual link: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/attachments/0x101-supply-depot-jpg.6105/

(I realize this will not be an issue in 1.2, but seeing there's no known ETA on 1.2, and that we'll have to wait for add-ons to be ported, it might be worthwhile looking into anyway).

p.s. Chris, please check your inbox?

Yes, good post, I would like this issue sorted on my website, and I am glad Peter has also discovered it on his website...

@Mike - is there a solution for this or will this be taken care of in 1.2?

Why are you tagging Mike??

It's my add-on, he's hardly going to fix my add-on in version 1.2 is he?

RSS feeds are a default XenForo feature.

Prior to XenForo 1.2 (which isn't released yet), the RSS feeds would display only the title of the thread.

The add-on you have installed (Description for RSS) is developed by me and it makes it so that as well as the title of the thread, it also displays some of the content of the thread in the description field of the RSS feed.

As my add-on displays content from the RSS feed, it is giving slightly unpredictable results in terms of attachment URLs.

I get you... but it would've been nice if the photos were indeed showing up in the results, as they do at http://www.valvetime.net/index.php?forums/news.32/index.rss

Forgive me if this off-topic. But how do I get the descriptions of the individual posts in the RSS rather than the original descriptions of the first thread posts only. Most of the discussions are as posts on my forum rather than new threads. Does xF does support only a thread RSS feed and not a posts RSS feed? Thanks.

@ngn.pw I was surprised that the new RSS feature in 1.2 only had the content of the first post rather than all posts. Apparently this is by design as you can see in the discussion here.

If you think that the RSS should contain all posts then please visit this suggestion and like it. :)
