Hi guys,
Recently I've purchased vBulletin 4.0 (CMS & Blog) after using vB v3 a few years back. I'm extremely disappointed with the software, it's unnecessarily complicated for my moderators and the permissions system is really long overdue a revamp.
I've used SMF and had no real issues with it (besides a few members having random BBCode problems) and have started thinking that I should be migrating back to it.
Now, I saw a board using this software and I really love some of the inbuilt features and it seems like a fresher look at forum software to the end user.
Is there any way to have a demo? (I understand the piracy risks with that) or just a sample website hosted somewhere so I can look at the admin side? Permissions etc would be great or simply just a few screenshots so I know what I'd be looking at before purchasing.
Edit - Also, has anyone tested this software with Lighttpd? Would I need to add any regex in my configuration for the nice URLs?
