Paul B XenForo moderator Staff member Feb 5, 2012 #2 No. There is currently a bug whereby if you delete a node, all the threads within it will become orphaned. I have also made a suggestion for what you have asked: http://xenforo.com/community/thread...oving-all-threads-when-deleting-a-forum.7033/ If you want to mass move threads, use this query: Code: UPDATE xf_thread SET node_id = y WHERE node_id = x Where y is the new node and x is the existing node. Paul B XenForo moderator Staff member Feb 5, 2012 #4 That still wouldn't work - the threads wouldn't automatically move from the child to the parent forum. Upvote 0 Downvote

Just I was reading your linked thread and you had mentioned the behaviour of child/parent forums. Upvote 0 Downvote
