XF 1.5 Default behavior of Ignore Member

If I ignore a member, I shouldn't see his/her posts/avatar at all on the forums, correct?

There are some places where I see the avatar of the ignored member but the post reads:

'You are ignoring content by this member. Show Ignored Content"

Is this supposed to happen or not? If yes, in which case should I be seeing this and when should I not be seeing anything at all (post/avatar)?

There are situations where that can happen. For example, this is done intentionally when you have a link that is taking you specifically to a post by someone you've ignored.
