Given this supports Pusher integrationnow, could you allow us to specify a custom host and port for using Soketi as a replacement?

Soketi seamlessly replaces Pusher, so everything else will function as normal without requiring any additional modifications, except for setting the designated "push server" hostname and custom port, if necessary. The cluster value is ignored by Soketi.

You don't have to mention that you also support Soketi either.

Not to mention the high costs of Pusher to run this add-on.

Pusher gives you at the free subscription 200K messages a day, that will be by far not enough.
Upgrade 1M messages is $49,- ex. vat. So bye bye.

Nice add-on, but this aint fun.

Plugin versions before 3.0.0 support Xenforo 2.2.x. But I recommend upgrading to the latest stable version of Xenforo, because a lot of work has been done in the latest versions of the plugin to optimize the use of server resources.

I can't get swoole to run. I have Plesk with PHP8.4. Xenforo is up to date. livecontent.service is set up and ngnix has also received the rules. It looks like everything is running, but then it crashes.

I would like to request a feature that gives users more privacy control:
Let users decide whether others can see if they are reading a thread or currently typing.
Ideally, this could be added as a personal preference in the user settings, similar to the existing options like:

Show "Typing" block
Sound notifications
Style conversation

The default could be enabled, and users can disable it if they prefer not to show their activity status in threads.
This feature would be a great addition in terms of privacy and user autonomy.
