update?
- Xenforo 2.3 support
- Added Pusher compatibility (Can be used on shared hosting)
- Minimum PHP 8.0
- Swoole integration completely rewritten
- Fixed bugs found
I have not tested this version of the plugin on a large project yet. The plugin logic has been completely rewritten. Therefore, it is better to wait until users with large projects test it.What sort of load does this put on a busy / large server?
Does it come with Instructions for Cloudflare, also?
And now the Swoole server can be managed completely from the Xenforo admin panel, i.e. no commands need to be executed in the console.Does it come with Instructions for Cloudflare, also?
In CloudFlare most often you don't need to configure anything, websockets are enabled there by default. Just add proxying to the Nginx config and specify the correct port in the settings.so I just add that into my nginx config, run the script and add the websocker in cloudflare?
What happens if this isn't running, does the forum die or just run without live content?
ps. Any discount codes?![]()
Got a lot of help from the developer, but we can't get it work yet (lack of knowledge on our end) with anything else than pusher which makes the entire forum ultra slow so we had to disable it after few minutes. But what this ADD ON does is awesome. We are still working on to find a valid solution, but if you have to secure the server at the same time of using this add on it's simply not easy, at least not for us.I'm working with it now using Pusher and it works as advertised![]()
I reported this issue to the addon dev several months ago.We have a large high traffic forum site and this addon completely timed out the site as soon as I finished uploading it. It is causing a spike in CPU usage.
Just putting this out there for the devs to be aware of. I disabled it temporarily.
Report the problem on my forum. Please specify OS, PHP, Swoole versions in your message. I am currently working on fixing this problem and it will be more productive with feedback from users. We have a large high traffic forum site and this addon completely timed out the site as soon as I finished uploading it. Excuse me. I thought you just didn't have any free time so we could find the cause of the increased CPU load. You promised to install a dev site. I guess I misunderstood you. You informed me of the CPU load on December 18.I reported this issue to the addon dev several months ago.
Sorry, it's hard to debug on a dev site because devsite has no active users.Excuse me. I thought you just didn't have any free time so we could find the cause of the increased CPU load.
